Eligibility Criteria for India Post GDS 2026

1. Educational Qualification

  • 10th Pass: You must have passed the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) from a recognized board.

Salary Structure (TRCA Slab)

The salary for GDS employees is provided in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA):

  • Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
  • ABPM / Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470

Note: Apart from the basic pay, employees are eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA) and other periodic increments as per government norms.
